We don’t fancy ourselves clairvoyants, but the same can’t be said for the team at This Time Tomorrow in Florence. Or perhaps it’s less that they can see into your future, and more that they’re composing it for you. From the moment you book, their local curators are crafting a tailored itinerary of truly unique and exclusive experiences from private art tours and wine tastings to hot air balloon rides and dinners at historic palazzos. So when you arrive, your story is written and waiting to be brought to life.
It all centres around their gorgeous abitazione in the peaceful Le Cure neighbourhood just a twenty-minute stroll from the Duomo. This tastefully restored building is a tribute to Florence’s rich tapestry of artistic heritage, blending old-world charm with modern comforts. There are eight bright and spacious apartments, each boasting large lounges, full kitchens, sumptuous beds and private outdoor areas. The walls are adorned with classical art, some of the ceilings awash in professionally restored frescos, and the floors are a mixture of Cocciopesto Venezano mosaic flooring and elegant hardwood. Forget 5-star hotels. Here, you can live like an affluent local – eating at the best restaurants and getting exclusive access to the city’s art scene – with the added benefit of round-the-clock concierge service.

Rooms
The apartments are spread out across the building from the lower ground floor to the attic. There’s a sleek brass lift to bring you up to the higher floors with ease, and each apartment boasts a private outdoor area, from courtyard gardens and juliette balconies to sunny rooftop terraces.
All of the residences have spacious living areas, full kitchens, kingsize beds, and ensuites with rainfall showers (some also have deep, freestanding bathtubs). They are cleverly named after different times of the day: Crepuscolo (dusk) on the lower ground floor, Mezzogiorno (midday) and Mezzanotte (midnight) on the ground floor, 1AM and 1PM on the first floor, 2AM and 2PM on the second floor and 3AM in the attic. The largest is Crepuscolo with three bedrooms sleeping six, the smallest is 3AM with one bedroom sleeping two, and the rest are all two-bedroom apartments sleeping four.
We stayed in 1AM and loved the giant 18th-century tapestry and all of the incredible artwork (including an original Dali) adorning the walls. Since the weather was nice, we spent most of our time out on our spacious private terrace looking out over the quiet backstreet below, which was in full sun throughout the afternoon. The layout is perfect for parents travelling with older or adult kids as there is one larger bedroom, but each have their own ensuite and access to the same terrace.
For couples travelling together, 2pm and 3pm have a great layout, with a large kitchen and two bedrooms around the same size on opposite sides of the apartment. And honeymooners would be very happy in 3AM, with one bedroom, plenty of sunlit space, and a private roof terrace.

Eating
This Time Tomorrow in Florence may not have a restaurant, but it's still heaven for epicureans. You arrive to a bountiful hamper of Tuscan treats like pasta, sauces, snacks, cheese, cured meat, jars of delicacies like truffle honey, a bottle of Chianti and a bottle of bubbly chilling in the fridge. Like everything else, it's all local and meticulously sourced. For anything else you need, the Le Cure neighborhood is full of grocers, butchers and bakeries.
For your complimentary breakfast, you can take your 'tokens' to either of two nearby pasticcerias, where the only challenge is choosing from the spread of golden pastries and savoury sandwiches glistening behind the glass. Trust us, there is nothing better than starting the day with a cappuccino and a pistachio brioche alongside the locals on the quiet streets of Le Cure.
Then there are the local restaurants, including Alfredo's just downstairs: real family joints full of Italians without a tourist in sight. Your local curator can recommend some excellent culinary experiences around the city, and pull strings to get you where you want to be, from upscale candlelit dinners to traditional Florentine fare.
If you are hoping to cook most of your meals, 2PM has the largest kitchen, while Mezzanotte’s kitchen opens out into the garden for al fresco meals from the comfort of home.

- An evening of history and wine at the Palazzo Antinori
- A guided food tour through the streets of Florence for an authentic taste of the city
